Learn how raW's anonymous online communities, group chats, usernames, avatars, and live polls work.
raW is an anonymous social app for polls, avatars, and interest-based communities. Answer a question, compare perspectives, or find a conversation without displaying your real name or photo.
Answer anonymous polls, compare perspectives, and explore communities around shared interests and experiences. A shared thought or different take can get you talking. Follow your curiosity. How polls work. How communities work.
Other members see your username and avatar. Signup needs an invite code. A private email or phone for account recovery is optional. The waitlist asks for nickname, email and phone.
You are anonymous to other members: they see your username, avatar, and community messages, never your recovery contact. raW itself still processes your account information, poll answers, and activity to run the service, as our Privacy Policy explains. What you share can still identify you, so keep personal details to yourself. Privacy Policy.
raW starts with questions and shared interests. A username and avatar let you take part without a personal photo. Less performing. More room for an honest answer, a different perspective, or an ordinary conversation.
Yes. Joining raW, answering polls, and chatting in communities is free. Optional extras like premium avatars and additional unlocks use tokens.
Anonymity does not excuse harm. You can report community messages for review. Keep personal details private and leave conversations that feel uncomfortable. Our Security page explains the controls.
raW stores account information, including your private recovery contact, poll answers, and activity. Other members cannot see your recovery contact. Read our Privacy page for details about what is stored. Privacy Policy.
